Labor Day Weekend is the unofficial end of summer. The kids are back in school, the NFL season is upon us and the sun is setting earlier every day. The summer season can feel like vacation no matter how old you are. Cookouts, fireworks and travel epitomize summer. Now that the kids are back to school, the stay-at-home moms and dads of the world will have a little free time to themselves. Personal home projects that were not feasible in the hot weather like cleaning out the garage or attic can now be tackled. Your business endeavors can also be addressed during this time of year. As we hate to see summer go, we can use this time between seasons to get ahead.

Fall is a time to avoid procrastination, use this time to get ahead. That said, this time of year can be utilized to make sure your bookkeeping is up to date. If you want to delegate this task to a professional, contact Clarity Finances and set up an appointment today to make sure that your books are up to date and accurate. Simply fill out the contact form online or call (610) 548-5279.

As the summer book report may be due for the students returning to school, adults also have some due dates around this time of year. The extension deadline due date for corporate tax returns is September 15th and the extension due date for personal tax returns is October 15th. Remember, there is no extension to these extension deadlines! Although we do not personally handle these sorts of returns at Clarity Finances, we can direct you to someone who can.

We hope you had a fantastic summer and are looking forward to the colors of fall!
